how to make SMF behave as old version

I remember there was a code which when added to end of smf forum url made it to behave as a older version...so that packages can be uninstalled...

Does anybody remember it? I tried hard finding here but still could not find the post mentioning this trick. I am using SMF 1.1.2 but some packages are not showing as uninstallable under it. So I want SMF to behave as 1.1.1 to uninstall some packages.

Try adding the following to the end of the URL in the package manager:

version_emulate=1.1.1
or
version_emulate=1.1
