Wrapped SMF display problem in IE

Hello.

I'm having a display issue with my wrapped/bridged SMF forum that only occurs in Internet Explorer (6 and 7). When a forum post contains content that is too wide to fit within the forum's area of the page, the overflow forum content disappears. This is bad because IE users cannot see the thread content, and they lose the button controls for the forum on that page.

This problem does not occur in Firefox. Firefox expands the forum area of the page to display the oversized post content, which is the behavior I would expect.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this in IE? I've tried inserting the CSS code "overflow: visible;" and "overflow: scroll;" in every page and CSS element I can think of in both the SMF and Joomla templates, but with no luck.

Here is an example link. You should be able to observe the difference in Firefox vs. IE.

SMF Version: 1.1.2
Joomla Version: 1.0.12
Bridge Version: 1.1.7

Thanks.

this is a problem with your joomla template...    a problem that is merely illustrated by the bridge, but would actually affect every  page... even standard joomla content pages if they contained an image or line to wide for the fixed width.

1- change your template to a wider width or varible width
2- get a better joomla template.
