Database error after upgrade More Info added.

I received a warning email from Fantastico saying my forums needed upgrading. I went to CPanel/Fantastico and did the recommended upgrades.

I now get this error "Unknown column 'a.attachmentType' in 'field list'"

I have two different forums with this problem.

This is what the other forum shows.

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum files are currently at version SMF 1.1.2, whereas your database is at version SMF 1.1 RC0. It is recommended that you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

What was the solution in case someone else encounters the same issue? Did you do an upgrade to fix the issue?
