Hi, I have a problem with my installation of joomla/smf with quote button and quickreply features. When I click on quote button nothing happen except a green "loading" bar on the top of the page.
I ask for solution in General English Support but they redirected me here telling is a problem with the bridge.
Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure about the bridge, because i've never used it, but I have previous experience with the same error when code somehow gets added into the index.php file, usually to the end of it (after the php tag is closed). If thats the case, remove the added codes (or replace the index.php file), if not, its definately a bridge problem :)

It is most likely a double-head tag problem.

How would I be able to fix this? My site: http://www.moviesforthemasses.ibiny.com/forum/index.php

No mods that I know of. I'm not an expert so speak slowly to me : )

You are my new hero!
Thank you!!!!!

You would be my hero too if you could tell me what "It is most likely a double-head tag problem." means and how to fix it : )

Orstio

Since you are not using the Joomla bridge, your problem is not related to the use of the bridge.  Therefore, your problem is not the same as Usu's, even if the symptoms are similar.

You should post in the General English Support for help with your forum.

@MFTM

your problem is what i described above, remove the stats script at the end starting: <!-- Start of StatCounter Code -->

alperuzi & Orstio: Thanks to both of you! These support forums are some of the best I've ever used!

******! It's unfortunate that is the problem. Stat counter gives me really, really good stats on the forum use and I'd hate to get rid of that code. Any suggestions?

Your statcounter code is in the wrong spot in your php files.  It is coming after the </html> tag, where it needs to be before the </body> tag.  Put the code for statcounter in your index.template.php before the </body> tag.
