Inherited an SMF forum that needs upgrading to 1.0.9

SMF Version: SMF 1.0.8
Hi all,

Just inherited a site that was at 1.0.6! I patched it to 1.0.8 using the upgrade now link in admin but now I need to upgrade further and the upgrade link is now not there. I've looked everywhere but cannot find how to upgrade to 1.0.9 and upwards.

I could sure do with a little help on this one.

You should consider upgrading to 1.0.11 than 1.1.3 to live up the features.

Thank you for that. So can I upgrade straight from 1.0.8 to 1.0.11 and then to 1.1.3. Also this forum is incorporated in a Mambo 4.5.2. Will this be a problem? (I'm beginning I wished I'd not agreed to take on this job!!!)

You should do it becuase its safer and theres less bugs. You have to do 2 upgrades. One fo 1.0.8 to 1.0.11 than do the upgrade to 1.1.3

sarahh, you could always try to upgrade immediately straight to 1.1.3 as well. But whatever upgrade you do, remember to make a total backup of your forum. Download all your forum files to your pc if needed, just in case so you can roll back if anything won''t go as it should during the upgrade.
