So, in plain English, you can use your Mambo login module, the Mambo user manager in the admin panel, and the Mambo registration, and all the changes made in Mambo are immediately made in SMF as well.

This, I like.

The SMF-Gallery2 integration is looking promising. A little more testing and it's time to try Mambo out.
