Array to String Conversion Error

I keep getting this error
Notice: Array to string conversion in /home/content/html/smf/Sources/Subs-Post.php on line 352.  This error is at the top of the page after someone registers.

Anyone know how to fix it?  I did a search for this error and I've noticed that others have experienced the same problem but I couldn't find a solution posted.

If anybody could help me that would be great.  I'm fairly new to html and this is my first forum, so please use simple terms and no abbreviations.  Also, I'm using SMF 1.0 Beta 5 Public which came with my hosting package!

That's quite an old version by now.  I believe that bug has been fixed, because registration does not give any errors now.

Download the upgrade package from http://www.simplemachines.org/download.php and upload all the files in there, then run upgrade.php.

Thanks for your help!  This might be a little challenging for me, but I'm going to give it a shot.
