Basic Info:
  Mambo version: 4.6.2
  SMF: 1.1.4
  Bridge 1.1
  Site: hxxp:glamorousmodeling.com [nonactive]
Issue:
Upon installing the bridge I lost my Super Administrators who were changed to registered users.  When I tried to change them back, the highest option I have is Administrator. In the database table mos_users, the field for usertype states "Super Administrator" and the mos_usertypes has "superadministrator" (id=0)

Upon installing the bridge I lost my "Super Administrators" in Mambo. When I tried to reinstate them the highest option I have is Admnistrator. What can I do to correct this?

Basic Information:
  Mambo: 4.6.2
  SMF     : 1.1.4
  Bridge : 1.1
  Site     : hxxp:glamorousmodeling.com [nonactive]
  db tables:
     mos_users: field has "Super Administrator"
     mos_usertypes: field id=0 has "superadministrator"

Please help me. These kids have recreated their accounts to many times moving the site from one host to another before I got my hands on it to help them.

Part 2: Is there any way to add super administrator to SMF groups with administrator privledges?

Thank you.

You have a number of problems.

The first is that you used the wrapper component to wrap SMF in Mambo.  The bridge is a component in itself, so you should not use the wrapper component.  Create your menu item to the bridge component, not to the wrapper component.

The second is that you probably used the synch buttons in the bridge config without reading the warnings next to the buttons.  There are only 23 users on that forum, so there is absolutely no need to use the synch buttons.

Thank you Orstio for you quick and informative response.  I will, upon finishing this message change the link to the bridge and elemintate the wrapper.

I was able to  recover the Super Administrator by making the following changes in the database:
  Table mos_core_ad_group
    changing the group_id to 25 where aro_id=10
  Table mos_users
changing the gid to 25 where id=62
Now to change the way SMF is called from Mambo and see what happens.....
