i understad that the attachments are in the message space, but i will like to know if it is possible to get my documents from the folders and add them like a message?

I'm not sure what you are asking, can you explain it a little more.  Maybe something visual?  You can attach any allowed file as an attachment.  As long as it's allowed in the settings and isn't bigger than allowed.

You need to be more specific...still unsure what you are asking here. Do you mean you have a folder in your webhost that you want to use and attach? If so, you can just post a direct link to the file and your members can just click on it to open/save it.

you can also use additional options, browse and upload your file to your post.

You can't....not when it's located in your webhost.

Let's say for example you have it in /public_html/smf/myfolder/myfile.gif

To post that in your forum, try something like:

[img src=http://www.yourforum.com/smf/myfolder/myfile.gif][/img]

That should work.

If you still need help or can't figure it out, provide us the path to that file you want (usually something that begins with /public_html, /www, /htdocs, etc.).

so, can you tell me what else can i do, if i want to put a whole information that i have in a folder, maybe if i put my documents in a program and i only put the rut to get to the program or something like that will work ??

where is the folder from which you want the attachments.
your home pc or some webhosting server.

Can you give an example of a file you have on your server, the domain name it's connected too and we'll give you an example of the needed URL to link to it in a post.

The support you are asking for is basic web information and not really related to SMF forum software.  That level of basic understanding should really be known by you or you should really do some reading up.  If you are running a forum you'll be running into a lot of issues if your don't even have a basic understand of how the net works.

There is no way people can access files in your PC. You'll have to upload the whole folder to your server through FTP, and then like the files as greyknight17 already said

Like said you need to have the files you want to link too uploaded and hosted on a net capable server.  So most likely the same place you have your forum stored.  You host will have allocated some storage space and that is where you need to save any files you want to make available to people on the net.
