embed flash turned off in admin, but embedded flash still shows

ok, i know someone's gonna post the solution to this, and i'm totally gonna smack myself in the forehead for being an idiot, BUT

i want to use karlbenson's auto-embed flash package (which works beautifully by the way karl) on my forum and so i was messing with some settings to get rid of the BB code flash-embed button in my post window.  some people have said that's unsafe and that the package is safer to use as it verifies the source of the .flv

long-story short, i turned off embed flash under posts and topics in my admin section, but older videos that were embedded using bbcode still show.  i know i can just delete the posts but i'm wondering if there's a way for me to REMOVE the bbcode flash button from the posting window altogether.

any help/tips/anything is greatly appreciated.

Theres TWO settings for flash.

As well as the setting which warns flash is a security risk.

Admin > Posts & Topics > Bulletin Board Code

Uncheck FLASH as a bbcode.

When you do that it will hide the flash button and disable all uses of flash.
