Which file need to edit to insert statcounter code and track all the pages of the forum?

I don't see any footer file, usually on a blog is on the footer above the </body> tag.

Thanks.

You would insert it into your theme's index.template.php,... search for the closing </body> tag in there.

I have one index.template.php and one index.template.php~, I have also one BoardIndex.template.php and one BoardIndex.template.php~.

Which of these four should I edit?

index.template.php (as I first said)

BoardIndex only covers the forum front page (board list)
and the ~ files are backups.
