is it okay to change admin password every week? is this a good practice?

Yes, it is okay to do so.

Changing passwords from time to time is definitely a good idea especially if the nature of the site you run requires it

Yes, it is a very wise idea to change your password from time to time. :)

It is also wise to not use one that is easily guessable. If you ever forget it, you can always use the "Forgot your password?" link (on the Login page) to retrieve it, and if that somehow fails, there are even other methods such as creating a new user, going into the database with a program like phpMyAdmin and assigning their ID_GROUP to 1, and then using that user to change your original admin account's password. ;)

Thank you akabugeyes. I've been wondering about this idea for a long time. Cheers.

I recommend not changing the password that often as you'll forget it too easily. Instead, I'd recommend using a complex password (UPPER and lower case letters and numbers, symbols too if you want) with a minimum length of 8 characters and rotating that every 90 (two months) to 180 (three months) days.
