Is there a way or a mod that allows the admin to track or see the emails/pm that members are sending? I need a feature like this as I think one of our members is spamming/soliciting via email and/or pm's.

I am hoping it can be done on a per user basis rather than every email/pm sent through the forum. Any mod or solution would be appreciated

There is no such mod, and you will not get any help from us as far as tracking PMs (do a search as this has been discussed several times). We can't help you with email since this is done outside the forum (although 2.0 does have the ability to send email through the forum, we won't help you track that either).

You can always turn on the PM report feature and let the members know they can use it to report improper behavior.

I was told I can do this through the database. How and what programs if any are required for this?

Sorry, we won't give this information out, it's our policy. (anyone who looks around could figure it out, but we aren't just going to make it easy)

I highly suggest you just enable the reporting function. Under "Features and Options -> Basic Features", check the box for "Enable reporting of personal messages". Each PM will have an option to send a report. This will let your members report improper behavior without being able to edit the PM.

It will also respect the privacy of personal messages.

no problem, I understand. I'll just ask my host provider to do it for me
