I'm just curious... Why must board URLs end with a .0 at the end? No other variables do- just the board URLs. What is the reason behind this? Thanks.

Fizzy

Depending on your settings the number at the end marks the start of the opening page.

For example, if you have a forum and you set Maximum messages to display in a topic page to 15  and a thread has a total of 90 replies to it then it shows as multiple pages in Message Index.
Page 1 starts at the beginning .0
Page 2 will start with .15
Page 3 with .30 and so on.

If I remember rightly the actual format of it was decided after it was thought to make the forum URL format as search engine friendly as possible.

It also makes sense to me ^_^.  Topic 5 and one half :P.

Oh, cool! That does make sense! Anyways, thanks for the prompt answers. I appreciate it. This can be locked now.

You're very welcome.

Oh, and the Moderators don't lock threads here unless they are "bad"  ;)

But the member that started the thread can lock it :)
