I've been testnig smf 2.0 b3 all morning and I'm very impressed with it. But I have noticed that if a user is issued a high warning (60-100%) that should "mute" the user, they are still able to post. Their posts need to approved still. Is this the way it should work?

I also just tested, it seems the muted user and also create new threads but they need approved, just like a mid-warning user.

Sounds like a bug to me, assuming you set a level for "mute"
I'm only a half geek really...

"Warning level for user muting
The user warning level after which a user cannot post any further - 0 to disable." is currently set to 60.

SleePy

I can confirm this.
Going to move this to the Bug Reports board and file a bug report on our internal bug tracker.

Edit, For team reference the bug is 1775
