Need help applying integrated chat mod to cs-dk114v1 theme please

Really running into trouble trying to get mods applied to this theme.

Googled it, changed the mod files etc... not getting anywhere.

Looking to have a chat button that matches the other buttons of this theme...

anyone have experience installing mods on this particular theme?

hve you tried following the new manual install instructions on the mod site here
