Hi, im a administrator at a smf board for me and my friends and our hobby, gaming..

Anyways, for a while now iv'e been think about putting up a e107 page in a bridge mode with our existing smf board.. so i googled abit and i found this plugin and went to work, i innstalled the latest version of E107-CMS and uploaded the plugin and innstalled just as i was suposed to..

The first problem i encountered was that the "forum link" linked to "hxxp:mypage.com/smf/smf.php [nonactive]" a page that does not exist, so i edited the plugin to display the page as "wrapped" and put up the correct path to the forums, and still nothing.

Another thing is that it doesent seems like the CMS and the Board is bridged properly, when i try to login from the forum i should be logged inn @ the CMS aswell if i havent misunderstood something, well, as i said, i dont get logged in at the CMS when logging in @ the forums.. and it's the same thing when trying to login @ the CMS and the moving to the board..

After playing around in my admin panel (in e107) i have got the correct link at the frontpage for the forums but it's still not "wrapped" eventho it should be..

So im starting to think the plugin is mayby not working at all..

Anyone have any clue about this situation?

Sorry for my bad english by the way.

The page:
www.clan-gfc.org & hxxp:www.clan-gfc.org/forum [nonactive]

You could try posting this in the bridges support board located further down the page. Have you tried to use other bridges? There are a few out there. www.tinyportal.net might interest you as well.

Kindred

actually, that link was almost correct.

If you installed the e107 bridge module correctly, then http://mypage.com/e107_plugins/smf/smf.php" is the correct link to the bridged forum.

Going to the stand-alone forum won't log you in to both systems...
and, if you have two separate databases, the db users have to have access to both databases.
