topic description?

I think smf should have a topic description when starting a new topic.

theirs a lot of stuff from ipb i want.. but i like some of the features here. They should also have a easy mod control like ipb.. (i derno if smf has it)

Try reading the manual. It will explain a lot of the features SMF has, and also how to use the package manager.

It will add the first part of the message underneath the link. Since often the description field isn't filled out, this could even be more useful.

This should really be implanted. But as an option to be disabled or enabled in the ACP.

Or do it like vB and have the first "so many" characters displayed as alt="text" and title="text".
