Converting a working forum back from 2.0RC2 to 1.1.11

I need to convert back to 1.1.11, have reinstalled the SMF software, but now need to import the data from the dbase for the working forum using 2.0RC2.  Any suggestions other than convert to phpbb and then convert to 1.1.11?

Restoring the backup you made, before you upgraded is about the only way...

Kat is referring to your last SQL backup of SMF 1.x before you upgraded to SMF 2.x

Making the database changes yourself...

As far as I know that is the only way to convert back to 1.1.11. If you have a recent database back up from when using 1.1.11, you can just use that. Less work doing it that way and possibly making the rest of the changes(such as adding new topics made, posts, members.)

Converting would probably be easiest in the long run though. From what I have heard it is real easy.

well, another way is to convert to phpbb and then back to desired smf version, it's no that simple, but it's another step that something might go wrong
