What Happened to the Karma Description Mod?

It sorta just vanished into thin air.

It has been removed from the mod site due to an attack vulnerability.
It will be returned once the author fixes it.

Once the author fixes it and uploads the fixed version, the Customize Team will go through and if all vulnerabilities found are fixed, it will be approved again

Indeed.  Its awaiting the mod author.
However I noted he hasn't been online since march.

Well you should definitely remove it because it can be a reason to get your site hacked, about another mod like it, I am not too sure.

That mod is outdated, but it might still work. I just tested it and you might need to manually edit the Admin.php file since it's a little different.

You like like to know that in the absense of the mod author, the customization team has provided a security release fixing the vulnerability.  And it is now available again on the mod site.
