DOUBLED Headers&Footers

 It is VERY strange. There is NO installed package "Headers&Footers" (I deleted it), BUT "Headers&Footers" still exists and ALSO they double everything what I put inside - for example link something = link something link something
OR

The Google ad's code is only one, but it is showing 2 Google ads.

I am with 1.1.12

Help me, please!

For sake of completeness what other mods do you have installed?

Where you say you deleted it did you firstly uninstall Global Headers & Footers before deleting it?

Have you, at any time, installed this mod more than once?

I have got only 2 :

1. SMF 1.0.20 / 1.1.12 Update 1.0 
2. Pretty URLs 1.0RC2a

Well, I tryed few times to install Headers&Footers and to uninstall. and now the situations is:
If I install again it, there are already TRIPPLE actions. If I uninstall it - double...
I have no idea how they're invisible. Can you tell me where to search them in order to delete/uninstall one of them OR what alternative actions I should do?

This problem keeps coming up with the Global Headers And Footers mod, I have seen the same problem in quite a few topics

  I see. Well, AT LEAST I want to know how to uninstall it and then it is easy to install again...the main and only problem is how to find it (them) and to remove completely.

On the page you downloaded the mod from, there is a drop down menu, select 1.1.12, then hit the parse button.

You will see a list of all the edits that are made during the installation, go through the files on your server reversing the edits !

Normally this happens when you uninstall and reinstall.  If you are unable to remove the edits by parsing the mod as Paul_Pauline mentioned, you may have to get a clean copy of the modified files in order to get all of the duplicated code out.  Once you have done that, you can reinstall if you want to.

 Yes. I did it exactly with the clean copies from my another SMF 1.1.12 forum! And it is alright already! Thank you!!!
