can I use this chatroom module?

I wanted to know if I can add a chat room called 123 flash chat. It appears to be free and is listed as compatible with smf. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

And would this mod (link below) be used to add a chat room button? Or is that for a different program called Falsh Chat?

123 flash chat is different from flashchat (by tufat)

the mod that you indicate is only for use with flashchat (by tufat)

I found the demo for 123 flash chat with smf

I see there is a button there for the chat room and that it is on version 1.1.4

so i am assuming it will load the chat room button for the menu

Do you (or anyone) know if this works like I am thinking it will (adding the button is the most important thing I am looking for)

I would not assume that.

Typically a bridge module will just the two systems together. I don't think it will auto-add a button in your smf menu.

For that, you would have to manually edit your theme's index.template.php (look in the docs link above for instructions on adding a button to the menu)

yes.. i am intrested in this software also.. but know that although it says it's free.. it's only free up to 10 users

I know that i have to edit the index.template.php.. but what do i have to do ? i do not code very well..

also.. how can i make it so that it will integrate in the forum and not open in a popup..

I am now using flashchat... but i have several errors.. like my moderators can not login.. ect..

if you have problems with flashchat, ask over on the tufat forums. They are very responsive.

I did.. but there is a problem that they have got not an anwhere to, but indeed.. the moderator Veronica has been very helpfull  but ... i am thinking of installing 123 flash...
