Problem banning a troublesome member

I tried to ban a member from my site, and the member continued to post. What am I doing wrong..?

I tested the ban on another member and it worked fine for him.

Is there any way a certain member culd evade a ban?

Did you set all triggers

Username , E-Mail etc.

without triggers it wouldn't work
