weird text on top on edit language page...

i have this text:

appearing on top of my edit language file...i had this mod on 1.1.5...but have never had it since...not sure why it is displaying this...ugh!

Open the Modifications.english.php file in the languages directory and make sure that the closing php tag, ?> is at the end of the file. If it is not,then move it there. Save the changes and re-upload the file back overwriting the old one. Hope it helps

yes this file is fine...it seems like the navigation file...if there was a problem here it would affect all the pages i think!

Make sure you edit and look in your appropriate Modifications.{language}.php file.  Also check there isn't one in your custom theme folder as well.

It's not at the top of the "edit language file." He means it's at the top of the "edit language" screen, i.e. the screen at Admin -> Configuration -> Server Settings -> Languages.

That's in Admin.template.php. That's the file the OP needs to look into to find the problem.

Dextrous, please attach your Admin.template.php file to your reply post.

Is this issue resolved? Try checking the /Themes/default/languages/index.english.php file. That file may not be closed properly. If you are not sure, attach that file here.
