Hi
I use fantastico to install SMF od my domain. I've installed it but when i tried to uninstall something went wrong. There was an error message which said that I have to delete one file in "/home/.../.fantasticodata/SMF/name of the file" and delete database and database user. I did it but when i want to install it again in the same directory i get an message:

"Installation can't be finished:

- You can't install more than one script in domain main directory"

Fantastico on SMF bookmark doesn't show any other installations. This directory which is domain main  directory is empty (I even deleted it to ensure that nothing left) but nothing works.

How to teach Fantastico that I have no SMF installed?

I can't remember the exact file that contains the Fantastico installation details.  There should be a folder that contains installation details, like fantasticodata folder.  It also might be host specific as well.

I suggest you contact your host and they should be able to direct you to the exact place you need to alter, or fix the issue for you.

Also if you install via Fantastico you should be able to delete via it.  If it doesn't work, you might also want to point this fact out to your host.

If all else fails you can install into another folder and then move it to the base folder.  Remember to not use Fantastico to update your forum once it's running, use the AdminCP.
