Encoding/E-mail notification problem

Hey, I just installed SMF with the bulgarian utf8 language file and everything works fine, except for the notification emails. Sender and subject look like this: Отговор на тема: Кучила , the email text is ok. Can someone please tell me how can I fix it? Thank you.

I found a simple solution, just changed the encoding of Notify.template.php from us-ascii to utf-8 and everything works fine now. Thanks anyway.

unfortuanltly, it didnot work for me
I am using SMF2beta4 UTF8 Arabic
I coverted Notify.template.php from ANSI to UTF8 encoding using notepad
do you have any other  idea ?
