Site wont Email

Hey since the begging of seting up SMF V2 beta the site hasnt been sending registration emails. how do i go about setting this up

What email address are you sending the mail from? The mail address can be configured in your Server Settings in the admin panel.

Are you using a generic address (such as [email protected])? Are you using SMTP or PHP mail()?

What version of the SMF 2.0 beta are you using?

i have olmost the same cuestion were do i configure smf to a default email

its sending emails with the name

where are the SMF settings for PHPsendmail or local mail, sendmail, php mail whatever you call it? my site still does not email

Look in the settings in your Mail section of AdminCP.  As the administrator of your forum you should really know the method you are using to send mail.

Is there any error log entries when you try to send.  But more details on how you are sending before I'll continue.

Try SMTP use the hosting details you are using, making sure the Web Master e-mail is the same as the SMTP log and see how that goes.
