Damn spam!

On [url-renandchi2.site50.net]my forum[/url], this forum [nofollow], and this forum [nofollow], which are all smf forums, a lot of bots have been posting. I deleted the spam ******, but this collab of spam on one of the listed sites proves my case [nofollow]. Has anybody been getting a lot of spam sign-ups? Also, what can I do to up the security of my site, as well as some mods to download stopping bots? Thanks!
