Converting from Drupal to SMF

I just need my users moved over, but I can't seem to get the converter to work. The last post in that thread is dated back in July, so I'm hoping someone can help with this. I've never done one of these conversions so any help is appreciated. Do I upload the converter.php & drupal_migration.php to the directory with the drupal install or the smf install? I've tried both and I can't get past step 1. It says it cannot find the SMF installation. Its there and running, with new people signing up but the converter.php says it can't be found
