Browse packages timing out

I am trying to download some new packages. When I click on browse packages I get this URL and a blank page

hxxp:mywebsite.com/forum/index.php?action=packageget;sa=browse;server=1 [nonactive]

I am using SMF 1.1.5

I'm experiencing the same thing after installing 1.1.5 from Godaddy.

I can click and install the 1.1.6 and then the 1.1.7 upgrades and all works fine but attempting to browse the default download server for third party mods which is pre-configured in the initial install gives the hang problem described above.

Welcome to SMF. Sorry for the slow response.
I believe that under some server configuration browsing the package manager through your admin area may not work.

You'll have to download mods from the Mod Site and upload the zips to the package manager.
