When I check the IP's and it's the googlebot, it always comes up with these errors, would this be inhibiting the bot from properly indexing my page?

Here is my mods:

Mod Name  Version
1. SMF 1.0.12 / 1.1.4 / 2.0 b1.1 Update 1.0
2. SMF 1.0.13 / 1.1.5 / 2.0 b3.1 Update 1.0
3. SMF 1.0.14 / 1.1.6 Update 1.0
4. SMF 1.0.15 / 1.1.7 Update 1.0
5. Anti-Spam Verification Questions 1.02
6. Aeva ~ Auto-Embed Video & Audio 5.1.32
7. Pretty URLs 0.9

Is this something to concern myself with, or is it just a harmless conflict with one of my mods?

JimM

That doesn't appear to be related to any of the mods you have listed.  Try turning off the template eval so we can see where the error really is.  You do that by running this query in myPhpAdmin (What is phpMyAdmin?)

INSERT INTO smf_settings VALUES ('disableTemplateEval', 1);

Clear you error log, then wait till you have had some activity that normally creates the error, copy and paste the error here.  To turn the template eval back on run this query:

DELETE FROM smf_settings WHERE variable = 'disableTemplateEval';

The problem seems to have resolved, by me, or by itself somehow, thanks.

JimM

Glad to hear it.  I'll mark this as solved.  If for some reason it happens again and you need further assistance with this problem feel free to unmark it.

That looks like a different error from your OP.  Did you recently install a mod that gives you a sitemap?  Those errors are probably related to it.

This is the mod that gives me a sitemap:

Is this error getting in the way of being indexed?

JimM

No I wouldn't think that would have any impact on indexing.  Did you recently install this mod?  Most of the time when you get errors like this it's because there is some conflict with this mod and others you installed.  If you installed this with the package manager, then confirm with the parser on the mod site that all the edits are correct.  If you installed it manually, you will still need to do the same thing.

Additionally you can ask in the support topic for that mod.

My issue may? be fixed over here:

I will have to wait until googlebot comes by again to see for sure.

JimM

It's always best to look through the mod support topic to find solutions to your mod related problems.  Glad you have a possible solution.

It's funny, Since I wrote the last  post, I am still waiting for googlebot to come by to see if the error happens.
Otherwise, it's always around, I hope it didn't give up on me because of the errors?

To add; This particular error problem seems to be gone now, I got a different one now, but this belongs to the Pretty Url Dept.

Thanks.
