check all pm's of users in admin cp :D

in vbulliten when we enter admin cp we can see who is sending pm to his frnd   

so is this mod is possible in smf  because this will help alot to stop spam by pm's 

please please please make this mod fr 1.1.8 please

Not possible, not going to be possible. SMF believes in users privacy.

SMF allows the reporting of users pms. (such as for spam)
That reveals single specific pms to the admin with compromising the privacy of a user inbox.

im glad its not available i think its wrong to be wanting to read people's pms! the report button is there for a reason, if they are being spammed you would know!

If user feel that some massage is spam they will report it... maybe you didn't express right in title, cuz i see you sayn,
that you need "who is sending pm to who" not "what"?

Agree with the others. Private messages are supposed to be private. If someone feels the system is being abused they are free to report the abuse. Otherwise the admins have no business poking around in people's pm's.

I know how to read them but I don't do it. I expect other admins to refrain from doing it as well. The only times I would consider doing it are:

1/ if someone had somehow lost some of their content and asked me to retrieve it from a backup for them or

2/ if I had good reason to believe that something very serious was happening or about to happen. Note that this does not mean a little bit of spam here and there. I'm talking about seriously dangerous and/or illegal  things.

i mean this mod is a part of VB nd help's to stop pam alot u can chk this on ipmart etc etc if u know someone dre this mod is superb so please kindly look forward into this matter

No. It wont happen with SMF. Even if somebody wrote such a mod the Customisation team would not approve it. It goes against firmly established SMF policy. There are plenty of ways of stopping spam without peeping in people's windows at night.

I also have to 90% agree that this type of mod is wrong.  When I ran VB I had that mod on my site, but in a 10% way I do agree with being able to read these messages.  It all depends on the type of spam you are getting and everything, and just what you are looking for.  Now SMF is more secure than VB is so no I don't believe that type of mod is needed on this forum software. 

Now with the 10% part of my answer I do want to answer that question some may ask.  When my site first started it was a site for my gaming clan ONLY, and all members agreed to having that mod on there incase a new person came in and was spamming other gaming clans so we could see what all was said.  That is a different story, and the gaming clan is professional meaning tournaments for money.

But like I said before bad mod request.
