Log in, Log out issues.

Many of us get this error when trying to log out. "Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again."

Also there are some other log in, log out issues. We have a member page. When you go to it, it askd you to log (even if you already are) upon logging in if takes you top the forums. If you then return to your member page it still asks you to log in, wash and repeat. we are using the SMF log in system for most of our site and need to know what this bug is. Or if we need to change forum programs.

As far as I have encountered, I did not have face any such problem. I think it is the server problem or some other factors that cause it.

It is almost like SMF cant read its own cookie sometimes.

So you have your own member page setup (probably via SSI)?

Go to Admin->Server Settings->Feature Configuration and see if you have the following options set:

Enable local storage of cookies -> Unchecked
Use subdomain independent cookies -> Checked
Use database driven sessions -> Checked

You can also try checking the local storage cookies instead and uncheck subdomain independent cookies.
