im havimg problems updating my profile i goto account setting change my display name save but it doesnt seem to be saving

Did you enter your password at the bottom?

Also,
do you get any error, or does it simply not update your profile?
Have you tried a hard refresh? (CTRL + F5) Perhaps you had the old content cached.

Unto your problem, confirm that you're entering the correct password, I've tried to replicate this issue without success.

yes it was wmd5002 and i was trying to change it to wayne but it didnt unless i added the 83 at the end

I expect there is another user going by the name wayne, so it wouldn't let you choose that.
