Placing pictures in the forum

I would like to put a picture at the top of each section that corresponds to that picture. I beleive that this picture would have to be put in a header section on the forum and would require use of header.php but since im noly just starting to learn html I'm stuck in what code to write.

Other threads concerning headers have been redirected, as it were, to the integrating your site to the forum. I put all of that code in except include header.php line as there is currently no header.php file so the page obviousely crashes.

So my question is what should be in the header.php file to create the desired effect, or should it be done in a totally different way.

You would have to create a header.php with the contents you want it to have.

What do you mean by "each section"?
