How can I have SMF regerstration page on a different site. I have SMF installed on a sub directory and I would like to be able to just display the registration on a site that is in my root dir.

Awesome thank you. However I'm using a CMS and all my pages are .html any other ideas..

Make the .html files .php then and you can do PHP code in <?php ?> tags.

Yea doesn't seem that's going to happen anytime soon. So now I'm trying to do the backwards to what I started to do, if that make any sense whats so ever.

Working on adding my CMS header and footer to SMF.

First up, SSI cannot display a registration form in 2.0. There's a mod for 1.1 though.

Secondly without knowing what CMS, it's awful hard to try and help.

Oh, and can the moderators move this to the Portals/Bridges/Integrations board please?

interspire website publisher. Yea this one doesn't. However I was able to create a new php page with the proper header and footer and then of course SMF ssi that now works nice.

However I have one request. I run a simple how to site. To where a user can me a  questions.  I like the idea of all their questions to go straight into the SMF form without my user getting all nutty on how to use a forum.  what I would like is some simple way for a user to do this.  So for the most part is there a way via ssi to have just a post box ..

Not really, no, especially since that would be very, very easy to abuse without users being signed on - and if they're signed on, it's not much further to go to just reply.

Yea I know what you mean. But I have two options for questions on my site. One the normal blog, and the SMF forum. The issue with a forum is that 99% of my users get all nuts with it. There not to smart.. LOL.  Just trying to come up with a easier way for them.
