MKportal x SMF problem

Followed the directions to a T, and for some reason the forum does not show up at all.  i did this on a test forum because i feared this problem... and now my fears are realized.  anyone have any ideas?? i have been messing with it trying to get it to work for about 2 hours now... im getting frustrated!
