what is the best way to put picturs in posts?

i do not really like for my users to use photobucket etc

so what is a good way to make an image appear in the body of the post?

I personally like using the built in SMF attachment system for uploading images into posts.
Is there something the SMF attachment system can't do with image

when my users use the attachment it is not in the post but rather at the bottom of the post

I simply attach the file to my post and quick-edit to add the URL within the [img] tags

E.g:

However, you'll notice that anytime the topic is loaded, the download count increases as it downloads the image to display everytime.
