Just installed it RC1-1.

Hope to make the WYSIWYG editor default for each user. Doable? May I know how?

I am planning to use SMF on our intranet as an internal communication tool. We don't feel the the image verification (CAPTHA) is needed. Can I disable it?
Edit: interestingly, in my install, I do not see any CAPTHA, which is good.

Thank you!

AFAIK, there is no way to make the WYSIWYG editor default.

As for the CAPTCHA, you can disable it all in Admin -> Configuration -> Security Settings -> Anti-Spam

So the only way to do it is go to the source code to make it the default at the time of creating a new user?

To make the WYSWIYG editor default go to:

Admin => Current Theme => Member Options => Configure guest and new user options for this theme =>
=> Change current options for all members using this theme

[change] Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default?

See: Member Options [2.0] / Reset Options [1.1]
