Change Download Count Mod Request

Hello,

This idea came to me after countless hours of logging in to the phpMyAdmin and updating post counts manually via the SQL. My forum is run where users post their downloads as an attachment, and then they can discuss their applications in that very thread. Although when a user makes an update, and re-uploads their attachment, their download count gets reset. Possible to get a mod where if User has the correct permission, they can set a custom download count on upload of attachment? My users need to have their download counts maintained as it serves as how good their program is, and I need to manually do this myself as I'm the only one with access to the SQL. But it would be a HUGE help if my admins/uploaders could do this on submit without SQL access. Let me know what you think.
