Your Settings.php file has been emptied out. This is due to a major flaw in the design of handling of database errors. Anyway, copy your Settings_bak.php file to Settings.php. If that doesn't bring you back up, erase the empty Settings.php file, download repair_settings.php, and run it to create a new Settings.php file.

Settings.php cannot be written to by your webserver. Please modify the permissions on this file to allow write access.

Using a FTP client or your host control panel you should be able to CHMOD the permissions on the file to 755, 775, or 777.  One of those depending on your host requirements should work.

Okay I got that to work but it's showing
Some settings are not being shown because the MySQL connection information is incorrect.

I've tired everything

After I submit or click save settings this shows

Did you first erase the 0-size (empty) Settings.php, before running repair_settings?

Norv

Please try using the file attached here, eventually (and run repair_settings after you replace yours with this one - keep a copy of your file before you replace it though).
I think repair_settings.php doesn't like the file to be with no data, like it doesn't like to find none (it doesn't create a new one).

Please make sure you run repair_settings and save the settings you set.
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.
