EOTS DZINE CORE CURVED

DEMO

since i started using SMF there has always been aspects of the Default Core Theme that i disliked...... so heres my view of the Default Core Theme, a clean smooth looking theme

Header Changes

drop down menu placed in top of header
welcome and time moved to header user info section
logo 550px x 120px added to header - upload logo.png to images folder to change logo
rounded corners added

Board/Category Changes

rounded corners added to top and bottom of categories
subtle gradient added to boards
board layout more clearly defined with sub-headings (i.e.  Status   Board   Topics   Posts   Last post)
clean looking design when boards are collpased
upshrink images removed and board title clickable to collapse/open boards

Infocenter Changes

recent posts section columned with subtle gradient backgrounds

Menus

all default menu buttons removed and catbg.jpg used instead - this is a measure to make editing a theme to your style much easier

so, there you are.... Core Curved

note i have deliberately left his theme with the general colour scheme & default images i.e. on/off/redirects as the SMF default as ive made this theme as a starting block for people to edit to suit there own forum colours

as an example of the design aspects of this theme VARIATION DEMO - this was achieved with .css hex value & width change & image changes, no changes have be made to the themes .php files

if you like the design but are unable to edit the theme to your own forum colours then contact me to discuss having the colour scheme changed for you

Very nice. Great job!
I want to have a try.
I am using SMF 2.0.1, curve themes.

another "good job" post.

I will have to play with this theme in the near future.

:)

cheers - if your half decent with images and making .pngs with transparency and know a little bit of css, mainly how to change hex colors then its a relatively easy theme so style up to your own colour scheme

with reseanably good .php & .css something like this can be achieved with this theme

(note: that themes only part done so there will be further improvements)
