Stop members making duplicate posts.

I would like to request a mod which will stop members simply copy and pasting a post in different thread just to increase there post count, so, if a member posted "That's very interesting and I would like to get more information" then they copied that and pasted it into another thread, it will not allow it since they just posted it somewhere else.

That would slow your forum down hugely since it would be a database query searching the forum (essentially a forum search) for every post.

If you're not using Sphinx (and even if you are to a point) this would likely slow your forum to a halt.

For users who are doing that, warn them, then post moderate them.

hmmm u have a good point there, Ive been doing that, I hate spammers, dont give them a chance, its warning, moderated posts suspension (1 week ban) then permanent ban, per spam.

Oh well, Guess I will need more staff thanks for info
