Hello. Some mods install for me, but many dont. I get this error:

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

I know the mods are compatible.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Thomas

Hello there, and welcome to SMF!

Perhaps the package itself that you downloaded is actually the 1.1.x version of the mod? Please post a link to one of the mods that result in that error when attempting installation.

thanks for the speedy reply, and the welcome.

is one that didn't work.

The mod is declared compatible with SMF 2.0 RC1, only, not other SMF 2.0 minor versions, like SMF 2.0 RC1.2.
Please try downloading the .zip file on your computer, unzip the file, and in package-info.xml, replace:

<install for="2.0 RC1">

Code (replace) Select

<install for="2.0 - 2.99.99">

as well as:
Code (find) Select

<uninstall for="2.0 RC1">

Code (replace) Select

<uninstall for="2.0 - 2.99.99">

Then .zip it back, upload it on your server, in ./Packages, and try again to apply it from Package Manager.
