Quick Reply Scrolling

ok, couldn't find this here, so here it is.  when replying to a long quote in the quick reply box, if you hit the scroll down arrow on the scroll bar, it jumps all the way to the end immediately, even when there are more lines than can be displayed in one window.  when you click the up arrow, it jumps all the way to the top, unless you hold it down, in which case it jumps to the top, but then goes back to the bottom and starts scrolling up as it should.  the bottom only jumps, but doesn't scroll.  is this the way it's supposed to be?

This is not a bug in SMF, but a bug in your browser.  Please either try another browser, or contact your browser's manufacturer.

hmm...tried IE6 sp1 and Slimbrowswer.  Does it in both.

Doesn't do it in Mozilla Firebird, and there's nothing to cause it to do it in either.
