Based on the default core.

This theme will work with all 2.0 Beta 4 forums but was designed to work with forums that have Simple Portal installed.

Features:
*Drop menu (thanks antechinus)
*100% width
*Minimal clutter (removed the search and avatar from the user area)
*Default images are included for Simple Portal (arrow and dot)
*Custom Admin badge (images/admin_badge.gif)
*Header PSD file is included so that it can be changed easily   (images/custom/PSD images files)

*Should work with most mods*

To use the admin badge go to
adminCP>member groups>modify

Select to modify the admin member group. In the area where the star images are named type the file name:

admin_badge.gif

Set the number of images to 1

Very nice. Installed very easily with almost no problems. Just had to transfer a few images. It's now my new main theme for my site.

Hey Tyrsson, Im having a slight issue with the theme



This happens after editing a post, as I found editing a file from default template was making changes i posted in support, they said to ask you so, here I am.

Since Curve will be released soon I will be removing this theme from the theme site.

its the theme hxxp:requestiso.com [nonactive] uses
and its one of the greatest themes ever made!!!

its important since everybody loves this theme!!!

And this theme happens to be based on the default theme
all mods install real easily and it looks good!!!

This theme needs to live!!!

I dont want to change requestiso to another theme!!!

Well, when RC2 is released it will happen. I may do a theme similar based on the new default theme, but this one will then be obsolete.

Hey I managed to center the tabs on this theme

changed the CSS .tabs section to

Code Select Expand


.tabs {
         width: 570px;
margin:0px auto;
text-align:left;
font-size: 11px;
list-style: none;
background: none;
color: #000000;
         padding: 0 0 0 3px;
font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;
}


The "width: 570px;" part will vary depending on how many buttons u have, but its always center even when window is resized.

only problem is, admins, mods and regular users all have a different amount of buttons, so we would somehow have to make different values for each membergroup, is that possible?

Sorry to be a bother Tyrsson, but about a month back you did say you would help me with this problem, I have been trying to fix it myself for a while now, with no luck ...

I will be removing this theme from the theme site here within a couple of days since I will not be porting it up for any version above where it is currently. What I would suggest that you do is download my theme named Scarlet and pull the tab images from it and overwrite the current maintabs etc. Then depending on which version of Simpleportal you are using it may be that as I remember there was a issue with a bug in the admin menu.

I have tried the other images, its the same thing, except the color of the images is slightly different, I have simple portal 2.3, I noticed that the install of simple portal does not make any CSS changes to the tabs in style.css, as a matter I dont think it makes any changes to CSS at all, just ads its own CSS files.

Maybe a PHP edit somewhere can fix the issue, any ideas where I would edit to fix the problem, I have got nowhere trying to fix this with CSS, maybe due to the fact a PHP change may be required
