Old users delete function?

Hi!
I run a motorbike forum and need a feature to remove old users, users that havent been online for say 6 months

A function that gives the users a warning, "We miss u, please login in the next 2 mounths or your account will be deleted ?"

It would be great to have this feature.

Actually I strongly agree with this. There are TONS of members who always sign up and that's it. Never post or anything. So perhaps, like you said, if they haven't been active for a few months, send an auto email to them reminding them that they registered and we would like them back. If not, their account will be removed.

I think everybody would benifit from this as a small email reminder would bring a lot of those members back to possibly being active members. So yeah, I'm with ya

Note to Adamzon: I recomend changing the topic title to "Auto delete inactive members" or something of that sort. It's a little more descriptive

Darn this. I can't modify posts at all. It just, doesnt modify it. No error message or anything.

Anyway, I was going to add, OR, if you don't want to damage your precious total number of members, an option to just auto send a reminder.

I say it would be great if an e-mail can be sent out with the forum index page link which the user can click, and login. This should also remind the user that they have approx 15 days (Admin can define number of days) to login to their account at least once or their account will be deleted/banned. The text in the e-mail should also be customizable from the Admin panel.
That's a lot of coding to put into place but this would be a great mod ... any idea if this can be implemented in 1.1.1 ?
