Alright, so ever since RC1.2 was released, I've been having a hard time figuring out why users cannot maintain their sessions for more than 24 hours. I've noticed that, even when they set their sessions to remain logged on forever, the forums still kick them off based on the default time that I have set. I already tried changing various settings and I've gotten nowhere. The .htaccess file doesn't change anything regarding the cache or cookies, it's blank. The only mods I have installed regarding the login is capslock detection and HTTPOnly cookies. Though, I DOUBT either have anything to do with this problem as I've said before, it's been happening ever since RC1.2's been released.

Cookie Name: GDUCOOKIETheWorldBBS
Default login cookies length (in minutes): 60
Enable local storage of cookies: Off
Use subdomain independent cookies: On
Force cookies to be secure: Off

Use database driven sessions: On
Allow browsers to go back to cached pages: Off
Seconds before an unused session timeout: 5400

So, seeing as how I'm dumbstruck on what to do, anyone have any ideas? :S.. I'd greatly appreciate help. I'm really wondering if this is a bug with SMF2, but I cannot always be certain..

Do you still need help with this issue? If so, you may want to do one or both of the following:
A) Lengthen the unused session timeout
B) Lengthen the default session length

If the above doesn't work, you may look into using this mod.

If you resolved your issue, please mark this topic as solved. Thanks.
