Hi

I have an Integramod set up running with phpbb2 and I need to convert to SMF.

When running the converter it comes to a halt with this message.

QuoteConverting...
Recalculating forum statistics... Successful.
Unsuccessful!
This query:
REPLACE INTO {$to_prefix}settings (variable, value)
VALUES ("conversion_time", 1258394653),
("conversion_from", "phpbb2_to_smf.sql");
Caused the error:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '{$to_prefix}settings (variable, value)
VALUES ("conversion_time", 1258394653)' at line 1

I had done a conversion to phpbb3 but that wouldn't convert to SMF, (until I blew away the results of the polls on the old board), it too then stopped with the same error, though a different # for the conversion_time.

Anyone got a simple easy method of converting from the integramod phpbb2 setup via another route?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Norv

Please note that the error displayed above is not significant for the conversion process, the conversion has succeeded actually. The error is due to a bug in the converter file to SMF 1.1.10 which should be solved long ago, but it's possible that the files available for download were not updated yet. I will check them out asap.

Thanks for the reply and the information!

Not knowing the converter or what part was left to run, I didn't want to be missing half the database on the new board.

Cheers, and welcome to SMF!

Marking as solved.
