I upgraded from 1.1.4 to 1.1.6 and gave the latest beta a try.  The upgrade went without a hitch and then got this on the logon screen.

Wrong value type sent to the database. Integer expected.

MySQL - 5.0.51
phpMyAdmin - 2.8.2.4

I did a repair, optimize, etc. etc.  There are no errors reported in the database.

Any clues?  TIA.

Please don't create multiple topics for the same issue. (The other one has been deleted)

We need more information.

Using 2.0 beta 4
After replacing all the files/running upgrade.php

Any mods installed?
What exactly were you doing at the time, what page?

Any errors in your error log?

I used the upgrade, not the update since I was using 1.x.x.  All mods were removed.  I was feeling sleepy at the time and was at the update page doing the update.

Nothing in the error log, it is dated back to 4-1-2007, ugh.

If you are logging in via the normal login form try unchecking the "awlays logged in" option and put something like 5 in the box.

If you have some web space available (and a bit of exp using phpMyAdmin) try installing a fresh copy somewhere else then save the "smf_settings" from your current site somewhere and coping that table from the new install to the current site install.

Z06BAIT

So you are saying it is possible to install a fresh copy, overrite the smf_settings file only with the current one and import the database?  That's it?

Yea, you can try it but make sure you have backups ;)

Z06BAIT, is this issue resolved? Did you try installing a new forum and use the same database to see if it worked?

argimiro

Weird, I seem to be running into a very similar issue whilst trying to log in using Vyriel's Facebook Connect mod:

Using 2.0 RC 2

My 'normal' login process seems fine, though.

argimiro, please ask your question over there for additional support since it's related to that mod.
